Welcome back to the new school year!
We have implemented an update for the new school year - the ability for staff with Superuser and Admin roles within Speakr to roll over pupils from one class to another in bulk. Here's how to do it:
1. From the School Admin tab, select a class (the rollover is done on a class by class basis)
2. You'll see a check box by each pupil's name - when you tick each one you have an option to delete (as some schools have requested) or move to another class.
3. If you wanted to keep the pupil's record when they've left we'd suggest creating a Leavers class and moving it there, you can then add the pupils you'd like in that class
4. When you select one or more pupils and click on change their school class, you are presented with a drop down listing all the classes currently configured at the school.
5. Select the one you'd like to move the pupils to, and click on Move Selected Pupils. There will be an 'are you sure message', and when you agree to that, the pupils are moved.
If a pupil or two are moved accidentally, don't worry - you can always move them back / somewhere else. Deletions however, are final and we cannot recover them.
